Accessafe UK carry out sample pressure tests on standard components, pre-assembly of mechanic details and functionality tests on automated movable guards.
Finally, Accessafe check that every order packed contains a drawing layout, components, assembly kits and assembly instructions.

BS EN ISO 14120:2015
Safety of Machinery General requirements for the design and construction of fixed and movable guards.
5.3.2: Guards must be designed to prevent crushing or trapping points with parts of the machinery or with other guards.
5.3.9: Fixed guards must be fixed by systems that can be opened or removed only with tools.
5.3.10: Where possible, guards must be incapable of remaining in place without their fixings.
5.9: Where full visibility of the machine through the guard is needed, suitable materials or mesh panels must be selected in order to guarantee an appropriate open area and appropriate colours to allow visibility.

Tests
Accessafe products undergo crash testing.
CRASH TEST UNI EN ISO 14120
Quadra and Penta Ranges are assembled with META fixing system patent N. 222845 and Modula range is assembled with MODULA fixing system (European patent n. 3708742.)
These systems have undergone strict dynamic resistance tests from inside to outside impacts according to the so called “rigid body” procedure contained in the UNI EN ISO 14120 passing the test with flying colours for impacts above 115J. Safety distances conforming with requirements laid out in section 4.2.2 have been applied.
