Installing a Secure Warehouse Partitioning System for a Luxury Bedding Manufacturer

The Challenge

Before getting in touch with Accessafe, our client used a large open area with unrestricted access for storage which is something they were looking to change to better protect the high-value bedding products, accessories and marketing materials kept there and for improved security and accountability. They were also looking to have a storage area more clearly separated from any of the other operations taking place at the manufacturing facility.

In addition, the area was located on a third-floor mezzanine level which made the potential installation of a storage partition system more challenging as did the fact that the area had a wooden floor which would require a more customised approach for the installation.

The Solution: How Accessafe Installed a Secure Storage Partition System for Our Client

To provide a solution to the challenges our client was facing Accessafe installed a warehouse partitioning system using 2220mm high posts and 2100mm Penta mesh partition panels from our new stock-height range with sliding and hinged doors for access. In total, we installed roughly 90 running metres of secure partitioning to create a well defined storage area for the client.

The area being located on a third floor mezzanine level was a challenge for the installation process however our team was able to handle it without a problem. After unwrapping the pallets we successfully coordinated with the client to transport the goods to the third floor using a crane. To protect the wooden floor which we were installing the system on and to make sure all panels were safely secured our team procured special floor bolts which were fit for use on this type of flooring.

The outcome was a complete, secure warehouse partitioning system designed to immediately improve security and organisation while supporting our client’s plans to install a FOB access control system in the future.

The Results

The newly installed storage partition system meant the client now had a clearly defined storage area they could keep valuable materials and stock in which also helped control access to this space so only authorised personnel could enter. This area is now perfect for storing the marketing materials, high-value luxury pillows, covers and bedding accessories which the client required a safe and secure space for. Despite the challenges faced due to the area being located on the third floor our team managed to complete this project in full within the same week during which we received the order.

The client also offered positive feedback on the professionalism and efficiency of the Accessafe team describing them as ‘an asset to the business’.
